Wiarton Aviation is an aviation provider in Wiarton, Ontario; meaning we provide everything aviation related to meet customer demands. This includes but is not limited to: Aerial Sight-Seeing Tours, Charter Services, Flight Training and Ground School.

Aerial Sight-Seeing:
Sight Seeing tours depart from the Wiarton Keppel Airport and travel to the destinations or desired places of the customer. Tours range in duration from 20 min. up to 2 hours. There are many pre-planned routes including the 30 min. tour of the Wiarton Islands in Georgian Bay, or the 90 min. tour of the Bruce Peninsula but it is our pleasure to accommodate most any route if you wish to see your house or a notable landmark! Most flights are conducted between 500 feet and 2000 feet above the ground to give a fantastic bird's eye view of the world. The aircraft used is a Cessna 172, and accommodates 1 pilot and 3 passengers (a combined weight of 3 sight-seeing passengers cannot exceed 500 lbs.). Prices start at $110.00 + gst. Prices are the same for one, two or three passengers so bring your friends. Sight seeing tours run all year round with the most popular times being the spring through to the fall. Call and book your flight with one weeks notice to ensure availability.

Charter Service:
Need to get somewhere in a hurry? We can help! As of June, 2008 we have started our new Charter Service serving Ontario and surrounding regions. Chartered flights are flights on demand. You tell us where and when you want to go and we will have an aircraft and a pilot waiting for you! Have a meeting in Ottawa? Perhaps you want to see a hockey game in Toronto or Montreal; then sit back and let Wiarton Aviation take you there.

Flight Training & Ground School:
Do you want to fly for fun? Would you like to have a career in aviation? Wiarton Aviation provides flight training from beginning to end through a wide range of courses that can help you to achieve your dreams. Our courses include but are not limited to: Recreational Pilot Permit, Private Pilot Licence, Commercial Pilot Licence, Night Rating, Instrument Rating, Instructor Rating, Multi-Engine Rating & VRF Over the Top. We can take you from person to pilot in as little as 2 months. We provide all of the ground school and ground training pertaining to every licence and rating and provide you with the skills to ensure you pass the associated flight tests and written exams issued by Transport Canada. Our staff of 6 instructors bring a combined 30+ years of flying experience to aid your training, and our fleet of 4 aircraft gives us the platform to be ready when you are.
