Nestled among trees, manicured lawns and gardens, Lionheart Guest House is centrally located in the picturesque village of Lion's Head, one block away from the public sand beach, marina and boat launch. This charming Guest House was built in 1898 and great care was given in maintaining its history while renovations were being done in 2008. There several species of wildflowers on the property and the Bruce Trail is literally in the back yard.
The Guest House has four bedrooms, three ensuite and one with the bathroom across the hall. All bedrooms contain queen-sized beds. The Victorian bedroom on the main floor has it's own private entrance. Linens are supplied.
Lionheart would be an ideal location for a small wedding or a weekend retreat for 2 to 4 couples.
Lionheart contains all the comforts of home with a common living area complete with wide screen TV, surround sound, satellite, wireless internet and a propane fireplace, perfect for visiting, entertaining or a quiet day reading. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, formal dining room and a patio with BBQ for casual dining. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided.
Lion's Head is known for its clear blue water, salmon fishing, sailing, rock climbing and beautiful sand beach. The shear limestone cliffs at Lion's Head are some of the most stunning on the entire Niagara Escarpment. Nearby attractions include Bruce Caves, Wingfield Basin and Cabot Head Lighthouse. Tobermory is approximately 40 minutes away with Glass Bottom Boat Tours to Flower Pot Island, Chi-cheemaun Ferry, Bruce Peninsula National Park and Singing Sands.
