Infinite Glassworks offers fresh designs in handblown and fused glass. Operated by glassblower Kate Civiero, Infinite Glassworks features sculptural and functional glasswork ranging from vases, bowls and tumblers to ornaments, wine stoppers and glass jewellery.
Kate studied at Sheridan College in Oakville and is a certified glass artist, who has shown her glass in local art galleries as well as in Montreal & Toronto. Using the time-tested technique of blowing an air bubble into nearly-liquid glass heated to 2000°, Kate produces glass that is both functional and decorative. Her training in colour and form is evident in her work and her quirky sense of humour pops up in pieces such as "Bowls on Wheels" and her signature "Swimmers" which resemble gleeful aquatic creatures.
Kate sells her glass from her gallery/studio – Infinite Gallery - a former small general store right next to the scenic falls in Eugenia - where she welcomes clients and visitors on most Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm (Victoria Day to Thanksgiving).
Kate is available for in-home consultations with home owners, decorators and designers who require a unique Canadian-made item direct from the artist.
