Thank you for your interest in the Host-to-Host B&B Travelers Adventure through Grey & Bruce Counties!
 
Our bed & breakfast network allows you to hike the Bruce Trail, bike, canoe, walk, and ride from one Bed & Breakfast to the other, while the B&B owners of the Grey Bruce Bed & Breakfast Association (GBBBA) bring/ship your luggage (and perhaps your car) to your next host for the night. How you travel is your choice; we look after the rest.
 
You will get breakfast and an optional lunch package that should keep you going for the day. Dinner can either be provided or be a reservation, depending on the location. Every B&B provides unique breakfast meals, assures you are getting different meals and will be aware of any special dietary requests.
 
Your tour can take as many or as few days as you wish. We will always try to place you in the B&B’s that are most suitable to your route depending on the availability. Each GBBBA B&B has passed a rigorous quality inspection. You can stay at one B&B for more than one night to be able to take in adventures or activities available in that area.
 
Your hosts can either take you to a trail or arrange transportation if required. It all depends on the route or activity planned for the day. Each B&B owner knows their area best and will be able to make suggestions for your day out or to the next B&B. Your next hosts will be informed about your starting time, route and estimated time to ensure a safe arrival.
 
You will pay the booking agent, “Grey Bruce Your Way”, for the arranged trip package in advance. Please note the cancellation policy below.
 
The costs for transportation pickup or drop off and/or your luggage will vary from place to place and will be paid to the B&B owner or the taxi company. We suggest traveling by car to make your return home easier at the end of your trip.
 
Important:
Since all the B&B’s vary in their style you may not always get a room with your own private bathroom. Please inquire about the type of accommodation available at each B&B at time of booking.
 
Please note that most B&B’s are not licensed to serve alcoholic beverages.
Guests can bring beverages of their choice.
 
Please inform us in advance about a special diet, allergies, or food you really dislike!

Bruce Peninsula & Beaver Valley maps are sold at tourism offices in Grey Bruce.
 
Daily Base rates for 2009 - 2010 (in CAD):
 
$ 110.00 for two persons in a double/queen room with breakfast.      
$   95.00 for a single person with breakfast.
$   40.00 for an additional person in the same room, if available.
Some B&B’s rates may be slightly higher.
Room upgrades may be available at some B&B’s.
Lunch can be provided by the B&B for an additional fee
Dinner can be arranged at several B&B’s for an additional fee.
 
Grey Bruce Your Way, our booking agent, will arrange all prepaid packages. For refund, 7 days notice is required from start date.
 
Transportation provided by the host will be paid directly to each B&B.
$     0.65 per km each way for transport of luggage and pick up / drop off
 
In some circumstances a local taxi service will provide transportation when required. Presently the rate is $1.15 per km. A credit card is required in areas out of the city.
 
Grey Bruce Your Way and some B&B’s may charge 5% PST and 5% GST tax in addition, and not all B&B’s are accepting credit cards. Please bring cheques or cash with you.
